Two vectors are given:-

V1=3i+4j+k , V2=i-j-k

Adding both vectors i.e V1+V2

V1+V2=3i+4j+k + (i-j-k)

=3i+4j+k+i-j-k

=3i+4j+k+i-j-k=4i+3j

Magnitud of vector V1+V2=_/(4)^2+(3)^2

V1+V2=_/(4)^2+(3)^2=_/16+9

V1+V2=_/(4)^2+(3)^2=_/16+9=_/25=5

Here is your answer , magnitude is 5..
