2Cos² A - 3 Cos A + 1=0

2 cosA² -2 cosA- cosA +1 = 0

2cosA( cosA-1) -1(cosA-1)= 0

(cosA-1)(2cosA-1) = 0

Either ,

(cosA-1)= 0

cosA= 1

A= arccos 1 = 0° or O rad

or

2cosA-1=0

cosA=0.5

A= arccos 0.5 = 60° or π/3 rad
