The linear acceleration will be 0.039 ms^(-2).

Explanation:

If a body moves in a circle it has centripetal acceleration as well as linear acceleration. In this particular question we will find linear acceleration of a body which is moving in a circle.

r = 10cm = 0.1m

t = 4s

we know that:

V = 2πr/t = 2π(0.1)/4 = 0.157 ms^(-1)

a = V/t = 0.157/4 = 0.039 ms^(-2)
