for finding Magnitude, take the square root of the addition of the squares of x,y and z components.
Magnitude = ( (3)^2 + (-2)^2+(2)^2))^1/2
= (9+4+4)^1/2
=(17)^1/2
Magnitude = ( (3)^2 + (-2)^2+(2)^2))^1/2
= (9+4+4)^1/2
=(17)^1/2
