Given :

Two points w & x such that

w = (3 , -3 , 1 ) & x = (8 , -3 , -6 )

To Find : wx

Solution :

•Given Points are w = (3,-3,1 ) & x = (8, -3, -6 )

•By Distance formula ,

D = √[( x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²+(z2-z1)² ]

•Now , Distance between w & x will be

wx = √[ ( 8-3)² + (-3-(-3))² + (-6-1)² ]

wx = √[ 5² + 0 + (-7)² ]

wx = √[ 25 + 49 ]

wx = √74

•Hence , magnitude of wx √74 units
