Draw x and y ortogonal axis thru O in direction of ellipse axis.

Put down any stright line L thru C and find cross points Ma=L x Ca, Mb=L x Cb

Draw vertical line Va thru Ma and horizonal line Hb thru Mb

Crossing Va x Hb gets point M, such that Mx = a*cos(t), My = b*sin(t) where t is angle between x-axis and L

Because (Mx/a)^2 + (My/b)^2 = 1 we can claim that M is point of ellipse
