Let x is tha market price
Than x*(100-5)/100=10450
X =10450*100/95=11000

New value =

10,450 + Percentage increase =

10,450 + (5% × 10,450) =

10,450 + 5% × 10,450 =

(1 + 5%) × 10,450 =

(100% + 5%) × 10,450 =

105% × 10,450 =

105 ÷ 100 × 10,450 =

105 × 10,450 ÷ 100 =

1,097,250 ÷ 100 =

10,972.5;

Answer:

10,450 increased by 5% = 10,972.5
Absolute change (actual difference):
10,972.5 - 10,450 = 522.5
