Hi!

Here is the answer to your question:

To find the mass of 1.5 moles of CO2, you need to find first its molar mass.

Atomic mass of C = 12 g/mol

Atomic mass of O = 16

for O2 = (16 x 2) = 32g/mol

Molar mass of CO2 = 12 g/mol + 32 g/mol = 44 g/mol

mass = number of moles x molar mass

= 1.5 mol x 44 g/mol

mass = 66 g

Hope this Helps !

hello

happy New year in advance

here is your answer,

Mole= 1.5 moles
Molecular mass of CO2 = mass of C + 2 * mass of O
= 12+2*16
= 12+ 32
= 44 g
now,
No. of moles = mass / molecular mass
mass = no. of moles * molecular mass
= 1.5 * 44
= 66g

hope this helps you
