Explanation:

(a) Mass of 1 mole of Na2SO3 = 23 x 2 + 32 + 16 x 3 = 126 g.

Mass of 10 moles of Na2SO3 = 10 x 126 = 1260 g.

(b)

(i) m = 8 g; Molar mass of O2 = 32 g; N0 = 6.022 x 1023; N = ?

N = m/M x N0

=8/32 x 6.022 x 1023 g.

= 1.5055 x 1023 molecules.

(ii) 1 mole of oxygen contain = 6.022 x 1023 molecule.
