Hello Dear.

Molar Mass of the KNO₃(Nitre) = 100 g/mol.
Mass of the nitrogen present in 1 mol. of Nitre = 14 g.
Mass of the Nitre = 1 kg.
= 1000 g.

Now,
∵ 100 g of the Nitre contains 14 g of the N.
∴ 1 g of the Nitre contains 14/100 g of the N.
∴ 1000 g of the Nitre contains 140 g of the N.

Hence, the Mass of the N is 140 g.

Hope it helps.
