find the maximum area of a rectangular field which is surrounded by a rope of 100m​

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) =100

l+b = 50 m

l = 50- b

area = l × b

= (50-b) b

= (50b - b^2) m^2

By taking perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)=100

l=50-b

area of rectangle=l. B

=(50-b)b

=50b-b^2

By derivative w. R. T b

dA/db=50-2b

dA/db=0

50-2b=0

2b=50

b=25

l=50-b

=50-25=25

hence area =25×25=625m^2
