the maximum length of the ladder will be the length of the diagonal of the cuboid

Diagonal = √( l²+ b²+ h²)

= √ 5²+4²+3²

= √25+16+9

= √50

= 5√2 m

Given, l = 5m , b = 4m , h = 3m

Diagonal = √ l^2 + b^2 + h^2

= √5^2 + 4^2 + 3^2
= √25+ 16 + 9
= √50
= 5√2 ans.
