let "n" be the number of cubes.
volume of cuboid = volume of cubes *n
lbh = a^3 * n
as per given,
lbh (volume of cuboid ) = 18cm*12cm*9cm = 1944
a^3(volume 1 of cube)= 3*3*3 =27
1944 = 27 *n
n= 1944/27
n=72
thus ,the maximum number of cubes of sides 3cm that can be cut out of a cuboid of dimension 18cm*12cm*9cm = 72 cubes.
