Given:
-3x²+7x+4=0....... (Quadratic equation)
To Find:
Roots of the quadratic equation=?
Solution:
-3x²+7x+4= 0.....(Given)
Comparing the above equation with
ax²+bx+c=0
So, a=-3, b=7 and c=4
b²-4ac=(7) ²-4×-3×4
=40+48
=88
Now, by formula method,
x=-b±√b²-4ac/2a
x= -7±√88/2×-3
x=-7+√88/-6 or x= -7-√88/-6
x= -7+2√22/-6 or x= -7-2√22/-6
