median=( n/2+n/2+1)/2

=3rd term + 4th term /2

=5.25+6.5/2

=11.75/2

Mean=Sum of observations/Total no. of observations

Mean=3.75+1.5+6.5+5.25+10+12/6

Mean=39/6

MEAN=6.5

Median=Middle term

But for that we have to arrange the observation in ascending or descending order

1.5,3.75,5.25,6.5,10,12

Here there are two middle terms(5.25&6.5)

So their average would be median

Median=5.25+6.5/2

Median=11.75/2

MEDIAN=5.875
