Find the mean and median of the data set, and then identify any outliers. If the set has an outlier, find the mean and median without the outlier, and state which measure is affected more by the removal of this value.

Answer -

Mean = Sum of all observations / Number of Observations

Median = Arrange the data in ascending or descending order

If the number of observations are odd - Then the middle number is the median of the data.

If the number of observations is even - Then take the two middle numbers then add them up and divide it by 2.
