Mean:Sum of all obs./Total no.of observation
4+8+10+12+10+4+2/7
50/7=7.3
Mode :As we can see 10 and 4 is most occuring frequency in the data so 10 and4 is the mode.

Answer:

Mean is 42.2 and Mode is 45

Step-by-step explanation:

Given frequency Distribution Table is attached.

To find: Mean And Mode of data.

Formula to calculate the mean,

mean,\overline{x}=\frac{\sum\,x_if_i}{\sum\,f_i}

Formula to calculate mode,

mode=l+\frac{f_1-f_0}{2f_1-f_0-f_2}\times h

from table,

Mean = 2110 / 50 = 42.2

Modal class =  40 - 50

l=40\:,\:f_1=12\:,\:f_2=10\:,\:f_0=10\:,\:h=10

mode=40+\frac{12-10}{2\times12-10-10}\times10=40\frac{2}{4}\times10=40+5=45

Therefore, Mean is 42.2 and Mode is 45
