\huge\boxed {Answer}}}

Arranging data in ascending order

12,12,12,13,14,14,15,17

Total number of observation (n) = 8

mean = sum of all observation / total observation = 12+12+12+13+14+14+15+17/8

=109/8 = 13.62

mode = observation which repeats many times

= 12

median = (n/2)th term + (n+1/2)th term/2

= (8/2)th term +( 8 + 1/2)th term /2

= 4th term + 5th term /2

4 th term = 13 and 5th term = 14

13 + 14 /2 = 26/2 = 13

answer with Step-by-step explanation:

Mode is the frequently occurring observation in a data.

We shall first arrange the data in ascending order(we can even arrange it in descending order)

12,12,12,13,14,14,15,17

12-3 times

13-1 times

14-2 times

15-1 times

17-1 times

So, 12 is the mode

Median is the middle most observation.

n(number of observations)=8 (even)

(n/2+n/2+1/2)/th observation will be the median

8/2+8/2+1/2=4th + 5th observation/2

Median=27/2=13.5

mean=sum of all observation/total no. of observation

     ∴   =12+12+12+13+14+14+15+17/8

          =109/8

    MEAN=13.625
