mean = sum of observation/ total observation

mean = 0+0+2+2+3+3+3+4+5+5+5+5+6+6+7+8/16

mean= 64/16=8/2=4

median = n/2+(n/2+1)/2

median=16/2+(16/2+1)/2

median=8+9/2

median=17/2=8.5
