Find the mean, mode and median of this data.

6, 15, 12, 9, 10, 21, 15, 16, 15, 25​

mean: Sum of all observations ÷number of observations

here

mean= (6+15+12+9+10+21+15+16+15+25)÷10

= 144÷10

therefore mean= 14.4

mode: most frequently occuring numbers

mode=15

median:

first let's arrange in ascending order

6,9,10,12,15,15,15,16,21,25

formula of median if there are even number of observations is (n)/2,(n+2)/2

here n= 10; n/2=10/2=5

(n+2)/2=(10+2)/2= 12/2=6

now let's do the mean of 5th and 6th observations so that we get median

5th observation is 15 and 6th observation is 15

15+15÷2= 30/2=15

therefore median is 15

mean=14.4; mode=15; median=15
