The answer is 25.

Given: Values = 20, 22, 25, 28, 30

To Find: mean of the given range

Solution:

Mean = \frac{Sum of values}{No. of terms}

Sum of values = 20 + 22 + 25 + 28 + 30

                       = 125

No. of terms  = 5

∴ Mean = \frac{125}{5}

             = 25

Answer) The mean of the values is 25.

Note

  • The mean can also be considered to be the average of the given numbers.
  • It is found by the same method which is used to find the average.
