the sum of first 12 natural no. is 78
so ,sigma x = 78
mean = sigma fx /N
here N = 12
so put these in formula
mean =78 /12
mean = 6.5 answer

The mean of first 12 natural numbers are
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12
Now mean of the numbers = sum of the numbers/total number of numbers
(1 + 2+ 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 )/12
= 78/12
Mean = 6.5
So, the mean of first 12 natural numbers is 6.5
