First eight natural numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Mean=sum of observations/total no. of observations
         =1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8/8
         =36/8
         =4.5

Answer:

4.5

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the question

We have to find the mean of first 8 natural numbers.

we know that, first eight natural numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

Now,

mean = \frac{sum\ of\ the\ observations}{total\ no.\ of\ observation}

= \frac{1\ +\ 2\ +\ 3\ +\ 4\ +\ 5\ +\ 6\ +\ 7\ +\ 8  }{8}

= \frac{36}{8}

= 4.5

Hence the mean of first eight natural numbers wil be 4.5.
