                               3 X 2 = 6

                               3 X 3 = 9

                               3 X 6 = 18

                               3 X 7 = 21

                               3 X 8 = 24

                               3 X 9 = 27

and                          3 X 10 = 30

Therefore, mean

=>   \frac{3+6+9+12+15+18+21+24+27+30}{10}

=>  \frac{165}{10}

=>  16.5

Thus the mean of the first ten multiples of 3 is 16.5
