mean =  \frac{sum \: of \: all \: observation}{number \: of \: all \: observation}

Squares of First 4 natural numbers :

1 {}^{2}  = 1 \\ 2 {}^{2}  = 4 \\   3 {}^{2}  = 9 \\ 4  {}^{2}  = 16

mean =  \frac{1 + 4 + 9 + 16}{4}

mean =  \frac{30}{4}

Mean = 7.5
