Answer:

Hey mate

We know that,

by empirical formula,

Mode = 3 Median - 2 Mean

2Mean = 3Median - Mode

2Mean = 3 × 45.5 - 50.5

2Mean = 136.5 - 50.5

2Mean = 86

Mean = 43

hope it helps you

Given,

Mode=50.5

Median=45.5

 \mathbf \green{formula \: used}

3Median= Mode + 2Mean

 \mathbf \red{to \: be \: calculated}

Mean=?

 \mathbf \pink{solution}

3Median= Mode + 2Mean

Putting the value

Now,

3×45.5=50.5+2Mean

=>136.5=50.5+2Mean

=>2Mean =136.5- 50.5

=>2Mean =86

=>Mean =86/2

=>Mean =43

Mean is 43
