First five whole numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4. Mean =(0+1+2+3+4)/5. =10/5. =2. Therefore, the mean of first five whole numbers is 2.

The mode is 2 because it repeats maximum time.

Hope it helps.......

First 5 whole numbers are => 0, 1, 2, 3, 4

Mean = \frac{sum \: of \: observations}{total \: number \: of \: observations}

Mean = (0 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4) ÷ 5

Mean = 10 ÷ 5 = 2
