all observations = 7,6,5,0,7,8,9

total number of observations = 7

MEAN =

 \frac{ sum \: of \: all \: observation}{total \: number \: of \: observation}

=

 \frac{7 + 6 + 5 + 0 + 7 + 8 + 9}{7}

=

 \frac{ 42}{7}

= 6

so mean is 6
