Geometric means especially the square root ( such as x) of the product of two numbers ( such as a and b) so when we expressed them as a mean proportion

a/ x = x/ b

or

a : x = x : b

Therefore ,

Mean^2 ( x^2) = AB

Mean ( x) = √AB

Now, put the values ,

Mean ( x ) = √ 20 * 500

Mean ( x ) = √ 1000

Mean ( x ) = 10√10
