The answer is x + 3

GIVEN

Data- X, X + 1, X + 2, X + 3, X + 4, x + 5,

x + 6.

TO FIND

The mean of the given data.

SOLUTION

We can simply solve the above problem as follows;

We know that mean of data can be defined as sum of all observation (Data) divided by total number of observation.

Sum of observation = X + X + 1 + X + 2 + X + 3+ X + 4 + x + 5+ x + 6 = 7x + 21 = 7(x + 3)

Number of observation = 7

Mean =  \frac{ 7(x + 3) }{7}

Mean = x + 3

Hence, The answer is x + 3
