Step-by-step explanation:

♥ Given area of a square = 100 cm²

Formula:::::

Area of a square = Side × Side = (Side)²

Let us assume side of a square = a cm

==> a² = 100

==> a = √100

==> a = ± 10 cm

Formula::::

Diagonal of a squre = √2 × Side

= √2 × a

We know that a = 10 cm

Now substitute in that formula

Diagonal of a square = √2 × 10

= 10√2 cm

[ Since √2 = 1.414 ]

==> 10 × 1.414

==> 14.14 cm

Upto 2 decimals

Hope it helps u.....

\huge{\boxed{\mathtt{\red{ANSWER}}}}

we know that Area of square = (Diagonal)²/2

(Diagonal)²/2 = 100

(Diagonal)² = 200

(Diagonal) = 200 = 14.14 cm (Ans)
