Step-by-step explanation:
Given: -
- times its complement is 12° less than twice its supplement.
To Find : -
- the measure of an angle
Solution: -
Let the angle be x
Complement = 90 - x
Supplement = 180 - x
☯ According to the Question : -
➽ 6 (90 – x) + 12 = 2 (180 – x)
➽ 540 - 6x + 12 = 360 - 2x
➽ 552 - 360 = - 2x + 6x
➽ 192 = 4x
➽ x = 192/4
➽ x = 48
Hence the measure of an 48°
