let the angle be x
then , its supplement = 180°-x

according to question ,

(180-x)-x = 25°
180-x-x = 25
180-25 = 2x

=> 155 = 2x
=> 155/2 => 77.5° = x

hope this helps

Answer:

The measure of an angle which is 25 degree less than its supplement is 77.5°

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :Find the measure of an angle which is 25 degree less than its supplement

Solution:

Let the angle be x

Supplementary Angles : A pair of angles whose sum is 180°

So, Supplement of x = 180-x

Now we are given that the measure of an angle which is 25 degree less than its supplement

So, x=180-x-25

2x=155

x=77.5

Hence The measure of an angle which is 25 degree less than its supplement is 77.5°
