In this solution, the one supplement angle is taken by x and twice of supplement angle is 2x. So that it remains two supplement that is measured by angle at 180 degree and then consider it as X x+2x=180°, 3x=180°, x=180÷3=60°, 2×60=120°.

Hope it'll help uh!~

*Question:

Find the measure of an angle which is 34" less than supplement.

*Answer:

→ Let the measure of the angle be x° and the measure of its supplement be (x+34)° .

Then ,

⟹ x = 180° − (x + 34)°

⟹ x + x = 146°

⟹ 2x = 146°

⟹ x = 146°/2

⟹ x = 73°

Hence,

The supplement of the given angle measures 73° .

So we get the answer 73° .
