Answer: Let angle be x° and complement of angle also be x°

we know that sum of angle and complement of angle =90°

then,x+x=90

2x=90

x=45

therefore 45°is the correct answer

Given :

  • Find the measure of an angle which is complement of itself.

To find :

  • What is the complement angle.

Complementary angle :

  • A angle is considered as complementary angle when the sum of two angles is equal to 90°.

Calculation :

→ 45° + 45°

→ 90°

Or

→ x + x = 90°

→ 2x = 90°

→ x = 90/2

→ x = 45°

Therefore, 45° is the angle which is complement of itself.
