In the above Question , we have to find the measure of an angle which is double of its supplement .

Solution -

Let us assume that the required measure of the required Angle is x° .

We have the following given condition -

The required Angle is double of its supplement .

Now, know that supplementary angles add upto 180°

So ,

If the given angle is x ,

The supplementary angle is 180° - x

So ,

x = 2 ( 180° - x )

=> x = 360° - 2x.

=> 3x = 360°

=> x = 120°

Thus the required Angle is 180° .

This is the required answer .

Additional Information -

Complementary angles add upto 180°

Sum of all the exterior angles of any polygon is always 360°
