Given: Three angles: angle A=x°, angle B=Y°  angle C=2X°

To find: The measure of each angle of parallelogram ABCD In //gm ABCD.

Solution:

  • Now we know that in parallelogram AB II CD (opposite sides of a parallelogram) , so:

               2x + y = 180 (corresponding angles)   ..........(i)

  • We also know that opposite angles are equal, so:

               ang A = ang C

               x + y = 2x

               x = y          ......................(ii)

  • Putting ii in i, we get:

               2x + x = 180

               3x = 180

               x = 60

  • So, y = 60
  • So, ang A = ang C = 120

              ang B = ang D = 60

Answer:

           So the two angles are 60 degrees and rest two angles are 120 degrees
