Given :- Find the measure of each interior angle in VIO
∠V = a + 40°
∠I = 3a - 10°
∠O = a + 15°
Answer :-
we know that,
- sum of all three angles of a 3 sided polygon (triangle) is equal to 180° .
so,
→ ∠V + ∠I + ∠O = 180°
→ (a + 40°) + (3a - 10°) + (a + 15°) = 180°
→ a + 3a + a + 40° - 10 + 15° = 180°
→ 5a + 45° = 180°
→ 5a = 180° - 45°
→ 5a = 135°
→ a = 27°
then,
→ ∠V = a + 40° = 27° + 40° = 67°
→ ∠I = 3a - 10° = 3*27° - 10° = 81° - 10° = 71°
→ ∠O = a + 15° = 27° + 15° = 42° .
