We know that,

Sum of complementary angles is 90°

$y+\frac{2}{3} y=90^{o}$

$\frac{3y+2y}{3} =90^{o}$

$\frac{5y}{3} =90^{o}$

$5y=90*3$

$y=\frac{90*3}{5}$

$y=36$

x=90°-36°=54°

The angles are 54  °,36  ° .
