The sides of square handkerchief is of 18 cm.

Solution:

Area of square is found my multiplying the length of two square sides. The square sides are of same length. The square opposite sides are parallel.

Area of the square = Product of two sides.

As we all know the sides of a square are same and let us take the sides as X.

hence \: the \: area \: of \: handkerchief \: is \: \\ x = 324 ^{2} \\ sides \: of \: handkerchief \: is \: \\ x = \sqrt{324cm ^{2} } = 18cm
