Find the measure of x and y in the following.

If you don't know than don't give an answer.

Don't give irrelevant answer.

If you will tell me correct answer l will mark him /her as brainlist.

1st Answer should come x = 56
Y = 68

2nd Answer should come x = 64 Y = 48

Answer/explanation:

for a

given: triangle A is an isoceles triangle as AB=AC

so, angleABC = angle ACB = x

anglesABD=124°

to find: x and y

answer: we know that angle ABC= 180°-124°= 56° ( because DBC is a straight line

p.s- I forgot the theorem so you gotta find that out yourself)

hence x= 56° (as angle ABC= angle ACB= x)

we know that Bcd

we also know that in any triangle the sum total of all angles is 180 degree.

and as stated in the begging it's an isoceles triangle.

so angle BAC= 180-(angleACB + angle ABC)

= 180- 2(x)

= 180-2(56)

= 180-112

= 68= y

for b

Given: Triangle ABC is an isoceles triangle as AC=BC. so, angleBAC= angleABC

angle BAC= 58°

angle CAD=16°

to find= x and y

answer: since triangle ABC is an isoceles triangle

angle. and the sum total of all angles in any triangle is 180

so x= 180-(angleBAC+angleABC)

= 180-2(angleBAC)

= 180-2(58)

= 180-116

= 64= x

we know that angleBCD=180° ( as it is a straight line)

so, angleACD= 180-x

= 180-64

=116

we know from before that the sum total of angles in a triangle is 180

and angles A=16°

so, angleADC= 180-(116+16)

= 180-132

= 48=y
