therefore  , median= [(n/2)th term +{(n/2)+1}th term]/2

              [4 the term +{4 + 1 } th term]/2

                [4 th term + 5th term ]/2

                 (18+20)/2

                  38/2

if the no. of terms have been odd then the median would be (n+1)/2
