Median means the middle most observation

3 , 1 , 5 , 6 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6

so here there are 8 observations so we can't find the middle most observations so to find the median we have to add the first group last digit and second group first digit that is 6 + 3 = 9 then we have to divide the sum by 2 i,e. 9/2 = 4.5

So the median is 4.5
