Answer:

∴ Median = 12.1       ∴  Mode = 12.2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Set of Data ⇒ 11.8, 11.6, 11.2, 11.4, 12, 12.2, 12.8, 12.6, 12.4, 12.2

Now,

Arranging the set of data in ascending order:

11.2, 11.4, 11.6, 11.8, 12, 12.2, 12.2, 12.4, 12.6, 12.8

We know that:

Median: When list of numbers sorted in ascending or descending order then the middle number is called median.

⇒ If the number of data in data set is odd, then the middle data is the median.

⇒ If the number of data in data set is even, then middle pair is added and divided by 2 to get the median.

Here,

Two middle data are: 12 and 12.2

∴ Median =  \frac{12+12.2}{2}

                 = 12.1

and

Mode: The data occurring many times is called mode.

Here,

Most occurring data is 12.2

∴  Mode = 12.2
