So, Median = 1/2 × [(n/2)th observation + { (n/2) + 1}th observation]
= 1/2 × ([(8/2)th observation + (8/2) + 1 th observation]
= 1/2 × (4th observation + 5th observation)
= 1/2 × (4 + 5)
= 1/2 × 9
= 4.5
