f is the frequency of the median class

h is the magnitude of the median class

cumulative frequency just greater than 15 is 19

corresponding class is 55-60

thus median class= 55-60

l= 55, h= 5, f=6, c=13

using the formula we get median = 55+ 5/6(15- 13)

=55+( 5*2)/6

=55+ 1.6

⇒median = 56.6

therefore, the median of the given data is 56.6
