For eg : the data is

4 6 8 2 4 10 8 6 4 2 4 6 8 10 8 6 8 10

then we will arrange it in ascending order

2 2 4 4 4 4 6 6 6 6 8 8 8 8 8 10 10 10

Now here we get two middle scores after arranging in ascending order .i.e

Now Median = two middle scores / 2

= 6 + 6/2

= 12/2

= 6

Hence the median is 6.
