First arrange in ascending/descending order.Then pick the middle no.It is median.If the no. of numbers is in even.Then add the two middle nos. and divide it by 2

11,13,14,16,18,23,25,31

Median=16+18 -:- 2=34-:-2=17

Answer:

The answer for the first one is 17

Step-by-step explanation:

mean =8 ,even if n = no of observation then

mean= ½[n/2 th term + (n/2)+1 th term]

so, ½[ 8/2 + (8/2)+1]

½[4+4+1]
