21,24,21,6,15,18,21,45,9,6,27 and 15

arranging in ascending order,

6,6,9,15,15,18,21,21,21,24,27,45

n=12 ( even )

even formula,

(n/2) th terms , (n/2+1) th terms

(12/2)th terms , (12/2+1) th terms

6th term , 7th term.

therefore , median of the following data is 18 and 21 i.e 6th and 7th term.

hope it helps please mark as brainliest .

josaanpa8344: ok
nany39: please tell me how can I get 18 as answer..
nany39: hey!!
josaanpa8344: not sure but i think so that smallest no has been chosen
nany39: only u have given me answer when somebody else will give then the option will come..
josaanpa8344: ok
josaanpa8344: thanks
nany39: welcome and thanks to u also.....you have guided me how to solve medians now I can easily understand other median sums also....
josaanpa8344: i even want to tell u about medians odd rule is (n+1/2)
nany39: Ok thanks

median means to find a number or numbers which is/are exactly in the middle of the data.

we have a formula to find the median :

when the given data is odd we use

 = \frac{n + 1}{2}

and when the given data is even we use

  = \frac{n + (n + 1)}{2}

coming on your question :)

the given data is even..

so,

first we'll arrange the given data in ascending order.

A.O - 6<6<9<15<15<18<21<21<21<24<27<45.

median :

 \frac{n + (n + 1)}{2}  \\  \\ \frac{12 + (12 + 1)}{2}  \\  \\  6 + (6 + 1) \\  \\  = 6 + 7

or 6th and 7th term, which are 18 and 21
