Answer:

The formulas for finding median for odd and even set of numbers is as follows :-

for odd = { (n+1)/2}

for even = {( n+1)/2 and n/2}

So in the given set of number let reaggarnge it in ascending order :-

22 < 31 < 40 <41 <52 < 60 < 62 < 71 < 81 < 91 < 92

This set of numbers is even which is 11 so we can apply the even formula

(n+1)/2

we have n= 11

so by putting the value of n in the formula we get

median = (11+1)/2

median = 6

so the 7 th number is our median of te set

•°• Median = 60

Answer:

The median of the given data will be 60.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: 52,41,22,62,81,71,60,92,91,40,31

We have to find the median of the above data.

We are solving in the following way:

We have,

52,41,22,62,81,71,60,92,91,40,31

  • As we know that the median is the middle number in a sorted list of numbers. So, to find the median, we need to place the numbers in value order and find the middle number.

Ordering the data from least to greatest, we get:

22 ,  31  , 40  , 41,   52   ,60,   62 ,  71   ,81  , 91 ,  92

Here, the middle number is 60.

So, the median is 60.
